The fiancé of the dead musician Daniel Williams shared tragic news: the plane crash was in the 14th anniversary.
The tragedy about the musician Daniel Williams (1985-2025), who died in a plane crash in San Diego, has apparently been added to a sad chapter. His long-time partner revealed and fiance in an Instagram contribution that the accident lasted on Thursday morning on the 14th anniversary of her relationship.

In an Instagram story of her official profile, there is a screenshot, it says: “We started our journey together on May 22, 2011. 14 years later, on May 22, 2025, you left us much too early.” You couldn’t believe that Williams can never see or touch again. “My heart has never experienced this level of pain,” wrote the fiance of the former drummer of the metalcore band The Devil Wears Prada.
At the same time, she promises her deceased love “to do my human possible to give the best for you every single day”. At Instagram, the band previously paid tribute to the late musician. The members wrote about a series of pictures: “No words. We owe everything to you. We love you forever.” From 2005 to 2016, Williams was drummer at The Devil Wears Prada.
Five other passengers died in the crash in San Diego
A total of six people were on the plane, in addition to Williams, also the music agent Dave Shapiro. All passengers of the small plane were immediately dead. The police of San Diego reported that around 100 residents were evacuated after the plane crash and around ten houses were damaged. In the accident, eight people were also injured on the ground. Two people were treated at the scene of the accident due to minor injuries, six more were medical care.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. The National Transportation Safety Board traffic authority has started the investigation.
