As a singer of Erasure, he became famous. Andy Bell Solo is currently on the road. If he is not musically active, he likes to laze around at home in Mallorca.
The British singer Andy Bell from Erasure (“A Little Respect”) treats himself to an extensive break after every tour. “As soon as the tour is over, I get pretty lazy,” said the 61-year-old of the German Press Agency in London.
He also likes to enjoy good food. “The longer you were on tour, the longer you need to get back down. You eat properly and make yourself comfortable at home.”

However, he currently has no time to rest. Because in June Bell, who has just released his new solo album “Ten Crowns”, comes to Germany for several concerts. In order to get in shape, he was walking and walking a lot of walking and hiking in his adopted home of Mallorca. “We did a hike over eight kilometers, up and down through the hills,” he said. “I have a rowing machine, we do yoga – it’s nothing demanding.”
Occasionally he goes to the fitness center. However, he does not have a routine for it, the singer emphasized. His schedule depends on his mood. “When I go there, I always want to do this on my own conditions. I don’t want to have to go just because I go on tour. I want to go when I feel like it.”
Erasure comeback expected next year
After his concerts in Germany – in Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne, Leipzig and Bremen – Andy Bell wants to perform at some festivals before he will be on tour for three months in the USA from October.
