A woman feels miserable, has trouble breathing, has a stomach ache, and vomits. A little later her life is in danger.
Recorded by Astrid Viciano
When I work in the intensive care unit, I see seriously ill people every day for more than 25 years. But I will always remember the woman who came to our clinic in the ambulance a long time ago. Never before had I seen a patient whose condition seemed so hopeless and who still survived. The evening before she suddenly had difficulty breathing and also complained of upper abdominal pain. That morning she had vomited and felt so miserable that her husband called an ambulance.
