The many crises of our time have left their mark on us, and many of us have become tired. Ayurveda is said to help strengthen our psychological resilience. But can it really be that simple? Our author dared to try it out for herself.
“Take a deep breath and then sing ‘Auuummmmm’ out loud, please.” I’m sitting in a yoga room, looking out the window at the forest on the Moselle. And I still can’t quite believe that I’m closing my eyes along with five other women and following the instruction without any irony. What’s more: A small part of me, I hardly want to admit it, even likes the fact that at this moment there aren’t ten tabs popping up in my head at the same time, demanding attention, but that there is almost silence. Silence. Actually, I find it difficult. I like it loud, fast and turbulent. My everyday life is more like a long run than an existence in a hammock.
