According to a broadcast, an average of 1.18 million viewers watched the second part of the concert, which had a greater reach. After two editions affected by the pandemic, the concert at the Wiener Musikverein took place again in front of a full house. At 60 percent, the event achieved the highest market share on ORF since 2014. The ORF film created by Barbara Weissenbeck and Nicholas Pöschl for the concert break entitled “150 years of the Vienna World Exhibition” was seen by an average of 1.05 million people. The market share here was 58 percent.

The concert and the intermission film can be accessed throughout Austria for seven days after the TV broadcast as video-on-demand via ORF-TVthek, the audio stream is available from oe1.ORF.at seven days after the broadcast. In addition, the ORF classic platform “myfidelio” offers New Year’s concerts from previous years via stream.
