The command of FF Pinnersdorf was only re-elected in 2021. It was therefore unexpected that the deputy commander Harald Hartinger announced his resignation. The new father wants to spend more time with his family in the future. “As a father, I can understand that, of course, but it came as a surprise to the command,” says Commander Karl Waidhofer.
Last Friday, therefore, new elections were on the agenda at the annual general meeting. In the end, 34-year-old Johannes Stöffelbauer prevailed against three very motivated candidates with 53.3 percent of the votes cast. He takes up his post as deputy immediately and has been promoted to senior fire inspector.
