Fire on a plane in Taiwan.jpg
Airplane fire in Taiwan
It all started with a large fireball present in a row of seats.
“I was sitting in economy class. The plane’s engine was about to start when I heard voices of people saying ‘ooh’ and ‘ahh’. I also saw frightened faces. Turning around, I was met by large orange flames bright three rows behind me,” said Angie Ton, one of the people at the incident.
As Ton indicated, people began to back away and shout: “Help, help! There’s a fire”. At that moment, one of Scoot’s flight attendants asked the passengers to move away from the fire and calm down. Seconds later, and with the help of a fire extinguisher, she managed to put out the flames.
The images captured a cabin full of smoke, so they asked to turn on the fans to clean the air. “I want to congratulate the flight attendants because they knew exactly what to do. They deserve recognition for their training, hard work and calm attitude,” the traveler closed.
