The Sportmittelschule Ried and the Franziskusschule Ried qualified for the futsal state final in Steyr.
The schools in Rieder were able to assert themselves against the district and regional representatives from Braunau, Schärding, Vöcklabruck-West and Vöcklabruck-East in the state-wide preliminary tournament in Schärding. On February 8th, two teams from Rieder will take part in the futsal state final in Steyr for the first time. Incidentally, the Franziskus School is the first school in the Ried district that has not had a sporting focus to achieve this feat.
