The kickers of Bundesliga soccer club SV Guntamatic Ried took off yesterday from Munich Airport towards Antalya. The Innviertler Bundesliga team is now preparing for a week at the training camp in Belek, Turkey.
While yesterday after arrival there was still a unit in the fitness center of the five-star hotel “Titanic Deluxe” and a joint dinner on the program, this morning we went to the training ground for the first time: from 9.30 a.m. to 11 a.m. local time we went to one of the three hotels -Football fields trained – in sunshine and 17 degrees. “The conditions are great,” said sports director Thomas Reicheltshammer to OÖN, a first update from the Rieder training camp.
All kickers took part in training – but not every Ried kicker was able to take part in everything: Marcel Ziegl trained individually after a slight irritation in his knee, and newcomer Roko Jurisic (adductor problems) also completed his own program. In return, the recently injured Seifedin Chabbi was able to take part in the entire unit as normal. Even Nikola Stosic is on his way back and has been part of the training again. The second training session of the day will take place from 3.30 p.m. local time (until 5 p.m.).
