If you want to integrate people with disabilities into everyday living, you have to take this into account right from the planning stage. The municipal GWG does this in the Neue Heimat district.

In the four-storey residential building on Adolf-Dietel-Weg, Miteinander GmbH will run a residential complex for people with special needs with a total of 16 places on the second and third floors. In addition, a further 19 subsidized rental apartments will be built, with future tenants being offered private open spaces through spacious loggias and their own gardens on the ground floor.

The needs-oriented design makes each of the rental apartments barrier-free accessible. In addition, the apartments can be adapted for the disabled with little effort, says GWG Managing Director Nikolaus Stadler. And his colleague on the management board, Wolfgang Pfeil, guarantees high-quality living for people in all life situations.

The residential building will be realized according to the plans of the Linz architectural office Kaufmann Haas Partner ZT KG. The new apartments are to be handed over to the tenants in the summer of this year.
