The Steyr public prosecutor accuses the 34-year-old tenant of killing the prostitute in September.
As reported, the tenant had stated that he had committed the act after massive alcohol consumption (“ten or fifteen beers”). Acquaintances of the woman had alerted the police on the night of the murder because she was missing. Due to contradictory information, the officials had been directed to the wrong address. It was only in the afternoon that police officers discovered the bloody act when the victim’s relatives called again, and Cobra officers arrested the 34-year-old, who has now been charged.
