According to the news portal The Hillthe Republican candidate for 2024 counts with a list of conservative measures that go against transgender identitiesamong which is the prohibition of sending state funds to finance these interventions.

Trump proposed passing a law “in all 50 states” with the aim of prohibiting medical intervention in gender reassignment for minors, along with an investigation of the pharmaceutical industry and hospitals by the Department of Justice.

Last year, at an event in Texas, Trump lashed out at transgender women, warning they should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports competitions and took aim at a general ban on men in “women’s sports”.
