City contributes the money for improvements

A wooden fence with flower boxes could improve the view of the waste collection island. From now on, do-it-yourselfers and hobbyists will receive money from the municipality for the procurement of materials for such beautifications of their district. The prerequisite is that at least five households take part in a joint project that has been approved by a jury made up of representatives from all city hall factions. “Then a beautification campaign can be supported with up to 5000 euros,” explains the mayor of Mauer-Greinsfurth Manuel Scherscher (VP). “Amstettner and Amstettner should be proud of their Grätzel. That works best if you implement something together,” Mayor Christian Haberhauer (VP) wants to strengthen above all a sense of community and neighborhood. Registration forms can be downloaded from the city website until May 31st.
