In the third grade of elementary school, one’s own community is a topic in the subject lessons. 18 children visited the community center together with their teachers Sabine Rosenauer and Luise Bloberger. Mayor Klaus Lindinger (VP) and Head of Office Martin Hofinger led the children through the premises. The employees let us look over their shoulders at work and showed them how to apply for a passport. There was even a children’s council meeting in the boardroom. The agenda included the following items: questions to the mayor, playgrounds in Fischlham, concerns to the community, anything else. How to proceed with the mud stations of the playgrounds was a central concern, the renovation is planned for spring.
