136 tarot fans – 114 men and 22 women – played last Saturday at the traditional tarot tournament of the Lions Club Ried to win the tournament. Even if the Innviertler Serviceclub was the host – the podium places were occupied by guests from other parts of the country. Victory went to Bruno Prax from Salzburg (234 points) ahead of Christian Wolfsgruber from Frankenmarkt (162) and Johann Six (140) from Pöndorf. Herta Meister from Pramet (105) held up the Innviertler flag – she took eleventh place as the best Innviertler and best lady of the tournament.
Organizers Alfons Fischer-Költringer and Klaus Roitinger from the Lions Club Ried were satisfied after the tournament. As always, the net proceeds from the charity tournament that is part of the Hausruckcup will be used by the Lions Club Ried for social purposes. The tournament was under the patronage of the OÖ Nachrichten.
