A car driver decided on a strange driving maneuver on Tuesday afternoon to avoid a penalty. Now he is really shown.
The 46-year-old from the Freistadt district was traveling in the city of Linz at around 4:30 p.m. and drove onto the A7 towards Vienna in the Hafenstraße area. After about 60 meters he should have realized that he does not have a valid vignette.
Probably to avoid a possible penalty for the missing sticker, the man from the Mühlviertel decided to eliminate the mistake and started a risky driving maneuver in the middle of the rush hour traffic: he put the reverse gear in and drove back the entire length of the driveway.
A traffic patrol who was in the area at the same time did not miss the strange action, they stopped the Mühlviertler shortly afterwards. He will be reported, the police said on Tuesday evening.
