“We want to minimize or avoid falls through targeted movement sequences,” Alois Hehenberger invites everyone over 55 to take part. The constant and active training helps to maintain and strengthen the reaction of the muscles. The body should be able to cope with the demands of old age. Walking is one of the most important forms of movement. Two-thirds of all falls happen while moving. Through the training and subsequent dance from midlife, one is prepared for these demands of everyday life.

Holistic training

“Dancing promotes concentration, coordination and balance. Dancing makes use of all the senses and muscles. Memory is also trained and it conveys a sense of achievement,” says Hehenberger. The senior dance leaders have set themselves the goal of conveying the joy of music to as many people as possible. Dances from all over the world, from different epochs and cultures are offered. Folk dance and dance games add the necessary fun to the training sessions. Everyone who got a taste for the first dance lesson is invited on Friday, March 10, in the Sarleinsbach parish home to get to know “dance from middle age”. It starts at 1.30 p.m. Alois Hehenberger accepts registrations at 0664/7398802.
