More than 4,200 restaurants in Austria also offer their dishes on the Lieferando ordering platform. An important factor for the approximately 1.4 million customers are the ratings of the individual restaurants. How satisfied were previous customers with the quality of the food? How long did the delivery take? On the website, hungry people can get an idea of the respective restaurants. In addition, Lieferando has created a prize. Since 2015, the best delivery locations in Austria have been sought every year. Now the new winners have been announced.
“Jack the Ripperl from Linz was selected as the best delivery restaurant in the city,” Lieferando said in a broadcast. Wolfgang Gittmaier and Johannes Roither opened the restaurant in the city center in spring 2017. There has also been a “Jack the Ripperl” in Saxony (Germany) for two and a half years. Other locations in German-speaking countries are to follow. In order to sell the ribs, the owners also work together with “lieferando”. Those who order home cooking should be satisfied, as the “lieferando award 2022” shows.
A total of 7,000 customers voted online. A jury made the preselection. Ten restaurants were nominated for online voting in each category. Criteria for this were the resale rate over the past year, the average rating, the availability rate and the number of orders per day. The winners were then determined based on the number of votes cast.
