OÖN Women’s Day on March 3rd

The OÖN editors in Linz are taking International Women’s Day as an opportunity to hold a day just for women – for the fifth time. On Friday, March 3, we invite you to the Promenade Galleries from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entry is free of charge, a registration is not needed. The program in detail in the OÖN forum:

  • 9.30 a.m.: Welcome – Susanne Dickstein (OÖN Editor-in-Chief), Christine Haberlander (LH Deputy, Women’s Provincial Councilor), Anna Richter (Marketing Manager HAKA kitchen)
  • 10 a.m. to 10.45 a.m.: “Hope is the driving force of my life” – Talk with the long-standing President of the Salzburg Festival Helga Rabl-Stadler
  • 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.: “Half of the cake” – Talk: Women’s politics under scrutiny with Claudia Plakolm (Youth Secretary of State ÖVP), Eva-Maria Holzleitner (Federal Chairwoman of the SPÖ), Marlene Svazek (Deputy Federal Party Chairwoman of the FPÖ), Agnes Sirkka Prammer (Justice spokeswoman for the Greens), Henrike Brandstötter ( Woman Speaker Neos)
  • 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m.: “Creative green kitchen” – cooking with HAKA kitchen
  • 1pm to 2pm: “In love, engaged, impoverished” – expert talk about financial independence with Martina Maier (deputy head of debt counseling Upper Austria), Mirabela Schmiedseder (PVA), Andrea Heimberger (AK director), Christine Aschauer (financial coach and management consultant)
  • 2:15 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.: “Take the power out of powerlessness” – Lecture by Melanie Wolfers – philosopher, theologian, “encourager” and best-selling author
  • 3pm to 3.45pm: “Cheer up – back to more joie de vivre” – conversation with psychotherapist Silvia Dirnberger-Puchner, psychiatrist Katharina Glück and Monika Aichberger (Vice President of the Chamber of Pharmacists)
  • 4 p.m. to 4.45 p.m.: “It should rain red roses for us” – musical entertainment with Gabriele Deutsch and David Wagner
  • Workshops in the seminar room: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., coaching with the audience, stylist Andrea Lehner coaches six women with regard to make-up and hairstyle. Visitors to the OÖN Women’s Day are invited to watch the changes.
