Around the anniversary of the start of the war of aggression against Ukraine, the West Ukrainian Caritas director Myroslaw Rusyn from the Uzhhorod diocese visited the Salesian parish of Amstetten Herz Jesu. He came on the initiative of “Welcome Man” and picked up relief supplies from the Amstetten region for his long-suffering compatriots in a minibus. Rusyn talked about daily air raids, concerns about relatives in military service and the suffering of the many internally displaced persons. Halt give the people prayer and all the support. The highlight of the visit by the West Ukrainian Caritas director was a prayer for peace with 200 participants on Amstetten’s main square.
