Eleven runners from the LAG Genböck Haus Ried started at the Upper Austrian Cross Country Championships in Lasberg at the weekend. In total, they won 16 medals. Policeman Jürgen Aigner won his next state championship title over the long distance of ten kilometers. His club colleagues Norbert Riedl and Franz Exl won silver and bronze in their respective age groups of the Masters competitions. Gerald Stockinger just missed the podium in fourth place. Together with their colleague Jakob Wakonig, the LAG men also won the silver medal in the team classification.
The starters of the LAG were just as successful in the short distance over five kilometers: Samuel Ebner took gold, Lukas Zweimüller bronze (both U23). Aigner, who also started on the short distance after ten kilometers, was happy about silver this time. Together with Jakob Wakonig and Samuel Ebner, he also won bronze in the team classification.

The women of the LAG Ried were in no way inferior to the men. Elena Trinks, Jasmin Zweimüller and Susanne Aumair won the gold medal in the team competition over five kilometers. Elena Trinks with the gold and Sophie Riedl with the bronze medal (both U20) as well as Susanne Aumair with second place and Jasmin Zweimüller with third place in the general class completed the success of the LAG Ried.
