The union of public health officials decided to call a strike in all the health centers of the metropolitan area, with the exception of the emergency doors, until midnight, because an official was attacked for the second time in 48 hours.
The State Health Services Administration (ASSE) reported that the union called a strike in all metropolitan health centers and dependencies until the end of this day. The reason, as explained by the Underlined media, is the second attack suffered by an employee of the polyclinic South Maracana. According to sources from the same medium, the woman’s aggression occurred because there are no dates available for her to be treated by medical personnel.
The official had already been attacked on Tuesday of this week by the same woman who attacked her this Thursday. From this, the Federation of Public Health Officials (FFSP) decided to call a strike at the polyclinic, with the exception of the emergency doors, which lasted until midnight that same Tuesday.
This Thursday the aggression was repeated again, for which the union chose to extend it as it will be in force until next midnight. All the services of the health centers of the Metropolitan Primary Care Network and its dependent polyclinics will be affected, with exception of emergency doors“, establishes the statement published by the union.
