Attempted cigarette theft: asylum seekers arrested

The two asylum seekers, a 35-year-old Belarusian and a 38-year-old Moldovan, hit the cigarette machine in Sankt Georgen im Attergau with two hand-sized stones on Thursday evening. The noise drew the attention of passers-by and informed the police, who were able to quickly arrest the asylum seekers.

After being questioned at the police station, the Belarusian harassed a policewoman. A scuffle ensued, in which the officer was slightly injured. Both asylum seekers are reported.
