Achleitner pays little attention to the goals of the spatial planning amendment in administrative practice.
For example, Achleitner did not answer questions about building land prices, saved parking spaces and subsidized building land security because no data was available or the state was not responsible. “However, these would be relevant questions in order to be able to control in an impact-oriented manner or possibly also sharpen them,” says Strauss in a written statement. Due to the inflation, the building land threatens to become even more of a “substitute savings book”, so that young families cannot find building land.
Strauss was also critical because, according to the answer, no projects for the subsequent use of vacant buildings in town centers could be successfully completed. “It gives the impression that Achleitner is deliberately covering up problems so that he doesn’t have to deal with them. He doesn’t even observe the goals that he named when the law was made,” says Strauss.
