voestalpine becomes a new partner of the LASK Academy Upper Austria

Working with young people is a top priority at voestalpine and at LASK: The counterpart to the LASK’s junior academy is the Steel Division’s training center. Now both are entering into a sponsorship partnership: together, the Bundesliga soccer team and the Steel Division want to support young players in their sporting and personal development.

With the new partnership, the Paschinger training center has been given a new name and is now called “LASK Performance Academy powered by voestalpine”. From the summer, the U18, U16 and U15 academy teams will train there in addition to the LASK amateurs. voestalpine also assumes patronage for the LASK Academy in Upper Austria. The new partnership also includes the naming sponsorship of the Paschinger Stadium, which will henceforth bear the name “voestalpine Stadium”.

With this partnership, we are working together for the talents of tomorrow,” says Hubert Zajicek, Member of the Management Board of voestalpine AG and Head of the Steel Division.
