The Vöcklabruck section of the Alpine Club looked back on a successful year in the mountains at the 116th Annual General Meeting. Chairman Willi Prehofer is particularly pleased that the Hochleckenhaus is managed with passion and very sustainably by the new tenant team.

The Alpine Club with the local groups Vöcklabruck, Kammer, Vöcklamarkt, Attergau, Frankenmarkt and Neukirchen has over 4900 members and will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2025. The section also wants to rebuild the office in Brucknerstrasse. District Governor Johannes Beer referred in his words of welcome to the important work of the Alpine Club for the infrastructure and emphasized the added value of nature and the mountains for the population.

Chairman Prehofer and his deputy Peter Hochleitner thanked Christine Krenmayr for 75 years of membership. Erika Würflinger, Rosa Offenhauser, Helmut Rehrl, Heidelore Nussbaumer, Franz Stabauer, Eva Geigenberg and Heinrich Klapper have been with us for 60 years.
