Rape of 13-year-old: Suspect is silent

The 21-year-old has not yet commented on the allegations, spokesman Erich Habitzl said on Thursday on request. The Romanian citizen was arrested on Wednesday evening in Gloggnitz (Neunkirchen district) – the OÖN reported.

Assault filmed

The assault on the student happened on Sunday between 12:30 a.m. and 4:00 a.m. A video had been made by another person who had been identified in the meantime, and this was sent out many times via social media. According to the police, further surveys are necessary with regard to the filming person.

Stunned with knockout drops?

Before the rape, the 13-year-old was said to have been given substances in her drink, and there are knockout drops in the room. A rapid drug test was positive. The state police department of Lower Austria recorded that the victim could not remember anything after consuming the liquid.
