Ex-apprentice at the top

Master builder Christoph Karrer has been an authorized signatory at WIEHAG Bau GmbH, based in Altheim, since the beginning of March in order to shape the path of the construction company together with CEO Erich Wiesner.

Christoph Karrer succeeds Karl Hager, who is retiring after 50 years with the company. Karrer has been with WIEHAG since 1991 and has progressed from apprentice and skilled worker to foreman and site manager, now he has reached the top management. “When I started as an apprentice, I didn’t realize that more than 30 years later I would have the opportunity to help steer the business of this company.” CEO and owner Erich Wiesner: “I am firmly convinced that we made the best choice with Christoph Karrer.”
