From April 1st there will be a new transport bike sharing offer in Leonding. This is made possible by cooperation with the municipality of Leonding, the KEM region Kürnbergerwald and the Austrian Climate and Energy Fund. The transport bike with e-bike motor, which supports up to 25 km/h, can be hired by Leonding citizens and companies around the clock at the bus stop on the main square.
The free rental is organized via the platform www.raddistributor.at, the maximum rental period is three days. The wheel of the brand “Urban Arrow” is insured against theft and vandalism, it can be used to transport items weighing up to 100 kilograms.
Test day on March 30th
The collection works via a “smart rental box” in which the battery, charger and key are located. This box can be opened by registered borrowers after making an online reservation via smartphone.
A test day will take place on March 30th (weather permitting) from 2pm to 5pm. In addition to training, interested parties can also take a test drive there.
