How do you get the Tourist Pass?
From the official page of Teletoll Uruguay is the registration option tourist pass in which they request the data of the vehicle owner (Country, document number, name, email and telephone number), as well as those of the vehicle (registration, make, model, color and specify if it has the TAG of the country of origin) .
If the vehicle already has a TAG, the page clarifies that it is not necessary to request one in the UruguayOtherwise, it will be necessary to request a TAG, free of charge, at any of the service points available on the page. How is payment made?
After registering on the page, the user will receive a confirmation email along with a username and password to enter the page or application and check the tolls owed. The payment methods may be in cash, through your identity document in ABITAB – REDPAYMENTS (with a minimum charge of $1545) or at Telepeaje service points (with a minimum charge of $500).
You can also pay by credit or debit card that can be linked to the tourist pass, or through the website, in the recharge section. Another option is recharging through payment applications such as tuappwhich requires no minimum load, or paymentwhich requires a minimum of $1,545 to top up.
