This is how the UTE simulator works to calculate the new fixed fee

The National Administration of Power Plants and State Electric Transmissions (UTE) enabled Fixed Fee, a new product that has as its main advantage and characteristic the copper of a determined amount in advance, for which it allows to know how much you have to pay for electrical energy.

The state energy company had already anticipated the implementation of this new collection modality, after conducting a survey among customers and registering a high level of acceptance of the possibility of paying a monthly fixed amount.

According to UTE, the objective is to contribute to improving the planning of the home economy no increases in bills during the months where a more intensive use of heating and cooling equipment is made in homes.

The Fixed Fee is available for those who currently have a fee Residential Simple, Double Hours and Triple Hours; and, in addition, they meet the following requirements: have no debt with UTE or confirmed irregularity in the previous year; have a minimum seniority of 12 months in that service; have no bonus Social Bonus; and have a single active Electric Service agreement in the UTE account.

To move forward with the implementation of this new product, the company published on its website a simulator which can be accessed with the document number of the holder of the service or the account number of the service. Through this simulator, it is possible to find out how much the fixed monthly amount to pay would be for a period of one year, and request the product if desired.

It can also be requested at mail [email protected] or from website, by phone at 0800 1930 from a landline, or *1930 from any cell phone. And by WhatsApp at 098 1930 00. Finally, the procedure can also be done face-to-face in the commercial offices, with prior shift.

How is the monthly amount to be paid calculated?

The fixed rate takes into account the consumption of the last 12 months of each client at the time of making the calculation, and from this it establishes an average value, which is the amount that will be paid during the following 12 months.

If after the sixth month the customer increases the consumption beyond 15%, you will be notified and the fee will be recalculated with that higher consumption. This notice is very important for situations where the client could neglect the expense and that, in the long run, would lead him to be charged with a much higher bill the following year.

If after one year the actual consumption is higher than previously stipulated, the client must pay the difference, which may be settled in 12 installments along with the invoices for the following year. On the other hand, if it is less, UTE will return the difference in a single payment at the end of the period.
