A verbal argument broke out between the 51-year-old Paschinger and the three young people on a tram around 9:30 p.m.
The 51-year-old then complained to the tram driver about the young people – whereupon they attacked the 51-year-old after getting off at the Langholzfeld stop. One of them is said to have hit the victim wildly. Immediately after the crime, the suspects fled in different directions.
The 51-year-old man from Pasching was injured to an unspecified degree.
