Eight students and a guard from a Belgrade primary school were shot dead today and six other children and their teacher were injured by a student, who was detained, reported the Ministry of the Interior of Serbia.

“In the shooting that took place this morning at the elementary school (…) Eight children and a guard died, while six children and a teacher were injured and hospitalized.”the ministry said in a statement.
