“He was unavailable this time.” Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez, like third Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin and the rest of the Formula 1 competition at the Miami Grand Prix, was powerless against Dutchman Max Verstappen.
Starting from ninth place on the grid, the world champion plowed through the field in Florida, clinched victory and an extra point with an impressive performance. After his third triumph in the fifth race, Verstappen now has 14 points more than Perez.
