Bee knowledge is explained in a compact manner and is “distributed” at twelve stations with interactive modern boards. QR codes on the topic can also be scanned with a smartphone.
The nature trail is surrounded by organic farms and blends into the hilly landscape. In addition to a small pond that invites you to slow down, fans of farmer’s golf can test their talent at two existing farmer’s golf stations. At the beginning of the nature trail there is a bee display case, where the bees can be observed at work through a glass. At the opening party there are small gifts for children, donkey rides and food is served. Admission to the nature trail is free.
Project manager Tamara Herndl is a bee educator and hobby beekeeper. “For me, the focus has never been on earning money with honey. My main concern is to understand the cycles of nature,” says Herndl, who also offers workshops.
