The 16-year-old from Ostermiething drove his moped on the L1003 from St. Radegund in the direction of Hochburg-Ach at around 3 p.m. In the municipality of St. Radegund, a car came towards him, pushing him off the road by cutting corners. The boy left the road on the right and fell into a forest. The oncoming vehicle driver simply drove on in the direction of St. Radegund. The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries from the fall. He had to be taken to the Braunau hospital by the Red Cross.
