Zero points, 6:16 goals. That is the sobering record of the last four games of SPG Pregarten. Most recently, coach Samir Gradascevic’s team lost 6-1 against Oedt. “We have a lot of failures and are often not goal-oriented enough,” says Gradascevic. The last win came on March 17 with a 4:0 win over latecomers FC Wels. Tomorrow against the in-form Dietacher it won’t be easy for the table tenth to turn the tide. “Dietach has high quality both in offense and in defence,” Gradascevic knows. “But we will give everything.”
There was a sense of achievement for Union Perg last weekend. The Prandstätter team defeated Bad Ischl 3-1. Today, with the third Edelweiss Linz, a heavy chunk awaits the Pergers. St. Martin has the SPG Friedburg/Pöndorf as a guest tomorrow.
The top game in the district league north takes place today in St. Oswald near Freistadt (8 p.m.). The newcomer challenges leaders Katsdorf. Katsdorf’s lead in the table over pursuer Eferding has shrunk to three points in the spring. The Eferdingers also have a difficult task ahead of them with Wartberg/Aist.
In the Landesliga Ost, Herbstmeister Bad Leonfelden is back in the fight for promotion after the last round without a game. The Mair-Elf is playing away in St. Florian today. Bad Leonfelden has good memories of their opponents: In the autumn there was a clear 5-0 win in front of their home crowd.
