To make it easier for people with mobility impairments to collect parcels, four company headed by Sebastian Kummer from the Vienna University of Economics and Business4All started. The aim is barrier-free, flexible and climate-friendly parcel collection for everyone. Developed with those affected
The parcel station was developed in an open dialogue with the people concerned and is now being used for the first time. This is also based on the white label principle, which means that the parcel box can be used by all parcel and delivery services as well as for other deliveries (e.g. for Click & Collect) – or even by third parties.
This is how you can use the Paketstation
To the UnLock4All parcel station for receiving shipmenten, you register via unlock4all.at or directly at the parcel station via QR code and can state their need for accessibility. When ordering online, the parcel box can then be specified as the receiving address, which means that the shipment ends up in a barrier-free compartment at the UnLock4All parcel station.
