The PIT-CNT reacted to the water crisis and proposed a mobilization

The president of the PIT-CNT, Marcelo Abdala, announced this Monday that tomorrow the Representative Table will meet to determine whether to call a “great citizen mobilization in defense of water”, in the same sense he stressed that Uruguay is in state of emergency and that from the union they demand that the truth be known.

The water crisis continues to give rise to talk in the Uruguay and the political arc is increasingly tense in search of answers from the government. In a press conference, the union president stressed the importance of “knowing the truth” and remarked “the veracity of how the opinion is developed by the person responsible for this, which is the Executive Power, for the correct management of all the population”. In this sense, he announced that this Tuesday the Representative Table will meet to determine whether to call a mobilization in defense of water.
