A Mühlviertler woman was no longer responsive after a wheel fall in St. Martin (Rohrbach district). The accident happened on the Lanzersdorf freight road in the direction of Ritzersdorf.
A witness told police officers that several deer ran away from the scene immediately after the fall. “It is still unclear whether there was a collision with the game or the fall was caused by an evasive maneuver,” said the state police department in the evening.
The 61-year-old from the Rohrbach district was flown to the Kepler University Hospital in Linz with serious injuries.
