On the king’s stage over 132 kilometers and 2500 meters in altitude, Jaka Primozic finished on the podium and thus ensured the next top international result. Because of his performance, he was recognized as the most active driver. Once again, the Italian Riccardo Verza laid the foundation for the success. He covered the leading group, which was able to pull out a lead of three minutes. This group was caught 30km from the finish heading into the demanding, hilly finale. There, Jaka Primozic and Jonas Rapp alternately countered all attacks and paved the way for a strong result for the Hrinkow Advarics professional. The Dane Mathias Bregnhoj (Leopard TOGT Pro Cycling) won. Jonas Rapp finished twelfth. In the overall classification, Primozic is sixth.
