The most striking thing about the revised Rüsselsheimer: the Vizor face that already adorns the Astra. In other words: a wide, black stripe across the front and smooth surfaces with clear folds. The name emblazoned self-confidently in the middle of the rear.
Inside, Opel has swapped the analog hands for a fully digitized cockpit display, and a touchscreen of up to ten inches can be ordered in the middle. And then there is the IntelliLux LED matrix light, which is being supplied as an option for the first time.
The petrol engines (100 and 136 hp) are paired with a 48-volt mild hybrid system, and the dual-clutch automatic transmission is new.
The pure electric version will be more powerful. Instead of 100 kW (136 hp), the electric motor now generates 115 kW (156 hp) and, thanks to an optimized battery, has a range of 402 kilometers.
The new Corsa is coming to Austria in autumn.
