“It’s awesome!” It was almost impossible to get through at the Bubble Days, the area at the Linz harbor area was already packed yesterday afternoon. Cool cocktails, a unique atmosphere and musical acts: the Bubble Days are a fixed point in the Linz event calendar. “We give the people of Linz what the people of Linz want,” says organizer Jörg Neumayr.
He’s right – as in previous years, the Bubble Days show how celebrations should be celebrated: live acts, music stage, water hopping on the Danube, eating, drinking, having fun. Yesterday thousands of visitors flocked to the area in summery weather – and there is something for everyone: the children’s friends distracted the little ones, while parents and the young at heart took advantage of the numerous attractions.
“Each jump is its own adrenaline rush,” said 29-year-old Alina from Linz. She and her friends jumped off the hovercraft blopper on the Porr Ship, a repurposed cargo ship. In the course of today’s Saturday, the air cushion pros will be thrown up to 18 meters in a show jump.
And there is also a lot going on in the “Splash & Chill” area: a separate swimming area, deck chairs and sea flair await you here.
The physical well-being of the guests is taken care of: Philip Rachinger, award-winning chef at the Ois in the Mühltalhof, has spoiled them with master chefs from Upper Austria – including Florian Gintenreiter – under the motto “six chefs, seven toques”; not only culinary, the smear is legend. The evening will be fun, relaxed and musically valuable.
Yesterday, the Linz duo Camo & Krooked heated up the audience. Electronic sounds with speed were among other things on the program. And today we have a morning pint with “Blechsalat”.
