Long-term boss Helmut Platzer was recently confirmed in his office. For around two decades, the Wels hotelier has been chairman of the Wels Region Tourism Association. Platzer and his board were unanimously elected.
The supervisory board members come from the hotel, catering and trade sectors. At the General Assembly on Tuesday, representatives from Sattledt and Kremsmünster were present in addition to the Wels members.
Wolf-Dieter Holzhey (Café Urbann, umbrella bar on Wels town square) is a new member of the supervisory board, whom Platzer also appointed as his deputy. Markus Ploberger (Hotel Ploberger), Christa Raggl-Mühlberger (Modehaus Mühlberger), Günter Stadlberger (Raiffeisenbank Wels) and Thomas Dopetsberger (Gärtnerei Dopetsberger) complete the board.
