President Luis Lacalle Pou experienced a moment of extreme discomfort during his visit to Paysandú when members of the Ancap Federation (fancap) violently rebuked him and called him a “liar”, a “mythomaniac” and even assured that his government “just defends rapists”, referring to the case of the senator Gustavo Penades.
The demonstrators launched harsh chants and shouts against the head of statewhom they called “liar” and of “mythomaniac“, Besides having “more verses than Benedetti“, the famous Uruguayan writer. Fancap claims that 550 families “would be left without work”
