KiK-Open-Air is going to the finals today and tomorrow

The third edition of the big KiK Open Air is going into the finals today and tomorrow. Various cultural events, especially concerts, have been taking place in downtown Rieder since Wednesday. The main stage is in Mühlbachgasse, where things will really get going again on Friday and Saturday.

“Max The Sax” and “Dorian” (4 to 5 p.m.) will play today from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. with free admission on the “Pop-up Stage” at Stelzhamerplatz. The main stage starts at 6 p.m. (admission is from 5 p.m., tickets are available online at kik-ried.com/kik-open-air-2023) from 6 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. with the performance of “Bastards Mustards” and “Mono Dual 721” further.

The Austrian band “Kontrust” will be the main act at 9 p.m. The band has performed at the biggest rock festivals in Europe, so the members of the Kunst im Keller (KiK) club are all the more excited about the performance in Ried.

From 11 p.m. the celebrations will continue in the KiK at an after-rock party with “Heaven2Hell”. Admission with a day ticket is five euros.

The star of the last day at the Rieder Music Festival is the Viennese singer-songwriter Voodoo Jürgens, who received this year’s Amadeus Austrian Music Award in the “Alternative” category. The 39-year-old will perform his songs with black humor in the Viennese dialect from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. on the main stage. “Werckmeister” and “Culk” will perform as support acts (from 6 p.m.). The day on the main stage begins on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with a Pippi Longstocking performance by the Tabor Theater. Admission is free.

The mobile pop-up stage stops at Weberzeile from 10 a.m. From 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., two more one-hour concerts will take place on the main square.
