The two boys got into an argument around 5:45 p.m. in a park in Eferding. The older man pulled out a pocket knife and inflicted minor cuts on the 14-year-old. The victim then ran away with a teenager of the same age. They finally met passers-by who called the rescue. The injured 14-year-old was treated by the emergency doctor and taken to the hospital in Wels by the rescue team.
The 16-year-old was found not far from the crime scene. He had fallen due to his heavy alcohol consumption and could not get up, whereupon residents of an apartment building called the rescue service. The perpetrator was also taken to the Wels Clinic by the rescue team with suspected alcohol poisoning.
