E-biker died in an accident in the Innviertel

For a 73-year-old from the Ried im Innkreis district, any help came too late on Wednesday afternoon after an accident. The woman from the Innviertel was traveling on her electric bike on the Hattinger Gemeindestraße from St. Marienkirchen towards Hatting when the fatal collision occurred. For reasons that are still unclear, the pensioner collided with an oncoming farm loader, steered by a 70-year-old local. The e-biker fell. She suffered such serious injuries that she died at the scene of the accident, the police said on Wednesday evening.
