He Central Bank of Uruguay (BCU) will seek this week in the market up to 12,500 million pesos with three titles of domestic public debt, with terms ranging from 28 days to a year.

This Monday, at 2:00 p.m., the first title in pesos will be tendered for 5,000 million pesos (more than 132 million dollars at current value), with integration that same day and with a term of 28 days. Of the total, 1,000 million pesos will be non-competitive placements.

In turn, on Wednesday there will be a second award, also at 2:00 p.m. and for 3,300 million pesos (more than 87 million dollars), with integration on the date and for a period of 77 days. Non-competitive placements will be for 660 million pesos.

Finally, on Thursday BCU will award monetary regulation letters for 4,200 million pesos (more than 111,000 million dollars), whose integration will be the next day and with 840 million pesos in non-competitive placements.

The tender for Series 6 will be held on Tuesday the 12th for an amount of 1,200 UP for 13 years. The bidding will be structured as a single price auction, which means that all accepted offers will be awarded at the same price, reported the Debt Management Unit of the MEF.

The minimum amount of each offer will be UP 100,000, in multiples of UP 10,000. The total bids per institution cannot exceed the amount authorized to be awarded by the issuer (200% of the bid amount). He Ministry of Economy and Finance reserves the right to accept all or part of the offers presented, or not to award any of them.
