The Union “landair” shows in its mobile exhibition “Use the floor wisely” Municipalities and initiatives that set a good example when it comes to building culture and soil protection. The exhibition can be seen in the Stadtentwicklungsforum Ried (Wohlmayrgasse 4) until September 27th.
Around 50 guests came to the opening event of the exhibition, words of welcome came from Ried’s mayor Bernhard Zwielehner, Sandra Schwarz (Inn-Salzach Euregio) and Ulrike Böker, the deputy chairwoman of the LandLuft association.
In his speech, the mayor of the award-winning municipality of Trofaiach, Mario Abl, gave an insight into the future work of his municipality. Based on a citizen participation process in 2015, the Styrian municipality has strengthened the town center with many different measures such as the implementation of a meeting zone, a reduction in parking spaces and new green lounge areas.
The exhibition in the Stadtentwicklungsforum Ried, Wohlmayrgasse 4, is open Monday and Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Tuesday and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Further appointment requests can be sent to agenda.zukunft@ried.gv.at. Admission to the exhibition is free.
